Christianity came to India in the first century through the Apostle Thomas. And the first Missionary came in Machilipatnam in 1600; the 1st missionary was Mr. Gelding. Yet Christian believers represent only 4.5% of India's population. The B M I reaches thousands of people in un-reaches rural and urban areas. We have found hundreds of the villages without a single Christian or one Christian worker.
